Download the installer
Click the download button above. Chrome may show a warning because the installer is new and does not yet have a code-signing certificate.
Download and install
The current installer is not yet code signed. Chrome and Windows may show a warning before you can run it. That is expected for this early release and the steps below show exactly what to do.
You may see a message such as file is not commonly downloaded in Chrome or Windows protected your PC during install. You can continue the installation by following the steps below.
Windows installer
Step by step
Click the download button above. Chrome may show a warning because the installer is new and does not yet have a code-signing certificate.
If Chrome flags the download, open the downloads panel, locate RS3SyncSetup.exe, then choose the option to keep or retain the file.
Open the downloaded file. Windows may show a Windows protected your PC prompt. Click More info, then click Run anyway.
Follow the installer prompts. Once installed, open RS3 Sync, try it with your own footage, and purchase a licence later if it suits your workflow.
Why the warning appears
The installer is a new Windows executable distributed from a new product website. Browsers and Windows often treat new unsigned downloads cautiously until they have built up reputation.
Chrome may warn that the file is not commonly downloaded yet. This is typical for new software releases.
Windows may show a protected your PC prompt before first run. Use More info and then Run anyway to continue.
Code signing is planned for a future release once the product has more established distribution. For now, this page explains the exact install steps required.
